A sink trap is a simple concept; wastewater (and clay) enters the containers from your sink, and via gravity the water and solid particles are separated – the clay and glaze particles sink to the bottom – by the time it leaves the containers the water is free from any solids

You might think a bit of clay is not a big deal, all those instances add up to clogged pipes and plumbing issues. Trust us we have been there before.

Because clay, as a particle, is both tiny AND heavy, it tends to flow into tiny nooks and crannies and settled over time, that accumulation leads to slow drains and clogged sinks. Clay is inorganic therefore it won’t simply decay and ‘go away’ over time, our clay traps or sink traps —  connect to the pipes below your sink and allow clay particles and glaze materials to settle and collect in a closed container, which rests below your drainage. Water flows continuously as normal, which means you no longer have to worry about rinse buckets — clay sink traps allow you to wash out all clay-coated tools right in your sink without worry of clogging!

How to empty the plastic jar? by unscrewing the collection chamber and emptying it once a week or even less according to your usage.
