A sink trap is a simple concept; wastewater (and clay) enters the containers from your sink, and via gravity the water and solid particles are separated – the clay and glaze particles sink to the bottom – by the time it leaves the containers the water is free from any solids

You might think a bit of clay is not a big deal, all those instances add up to clogged pipes and plumbing issues. Trust us we have been there before.

Because clay, as a particle, is both tiny AND heavy, it tends to flow into tiny nooks and crannies and settled over time, that accumulation leads to slow drains and clogged sinks.
